I’m back again for another installment of my Games N Flix column. Today I will be throwing out another video game preview, Madden 09. By far the most touted and most purchased sports video game ever is back for another year, bigger and better.

A day after Pat Riley stepped down as the Miami Heat head coach, a lot of Heat fans are asking who this new young coach is. They also want to know if he is qualified enough to be a head coach in the Association. Let’s start off with what we know, he was a Heat Assistant Coach, is 37 years old, and currently the youngest coach in the NBA, but what else do we need to know about him?
The Marlins continued their winning ways on Sunday by ending a seven game road trip with four wins. The biggest reason why the Marlins have won so many games has been due to the man at the top of their lineup, Hanley Ramirez. Hanley is on pace to put up offensive statistics never seen before by a shortstop, even when Alex Rodriguez was playing there.

The 2008 NFL year has begun. Ever since Bill Parcells has become a part of the Dolphins, he has done what he is known for. He came in and started making moves to rebuild this team and take us back to the playoffs and maybe more. Like always, Parcells gets rid of players that don’t fit his scheme and he does whatever is necessary to get the players he wants. Just recently he traded for linebacker Akin Ayodele and tight end Anothony Fasano. These two players came from Parcells’ former team the Dallas Cowboys. Along with trades and free agent signings, Parcells will make his imprint on the Dolphins using the NFL draft.

Round 1
Lots of sports going on this weekend in South Florida. My plan is to give everyone a little run down on some local sports and some prime-time action. First off we’ll begin with a little sports news and a little school named Miami Christian.
FIU who is 14-29, defeated Miami in a 6-3 ballgame. Miami is boasting a 33-5 record and a national ranking of 1. The game was a home game for the University of Miami, who plays their games on campus at Mark Light Stadium in Coral Gables.
Back again with a couple more tracks for your ipod. This week I slacked a little in my research for you guys. I didn’t find that much new stuff for this week but like you will come to know, I will always come through with something nice for the weekend. If by some miracle I don’t come through, that’s why I got my man the Pope with me. He picked up my slack and delivered a gem! That’s what teammates are all about.

I teased this Games N Flix article last time around saying that I was going to write about the movie 21, well that’s my choice for this week’s installment. A movie that immediately appealed to me the second I saw the commercial being a big poker fan, and gambling fan in general. Also the fact that most of the movie takes place in Vegas isn’t too bad either (great city, if you haven’t been there, you need to go).
